NCP Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care, 4th edition
The goal of 4th edition of the National Consensus Project's Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care is "to improve access to quality palliative care for all people with serious illness, regardless of setting, diagnosis, prognosis, or age." As the Writer and Editor of the NCP Guidelines, the kb group's Principal and Founder, Kathy Brandt, worked with representatives of 16 national organizations to write the expansive new guidelines.
The NCP Guidelines, which covers eight key domains of palliative care, features dozens of Clinical and Operational Implications, Practice Examples, nearly 15 pages of tools and resources, a glossary, a Scoping Review, and other elements to help all palliative care program serve the needs of all seriously ill patients and their family caregivers.
